One day while taking out the trash, Hollee saw a stray dog on her property. After asking her neighbors, she learned that the dog had been around for months and was known to be wary of people. Despite attempting to lure the dog closer by sitting on the ground, Luna remained hesitant to approach Hollee.

Hollee was worried about Luna, who was thin and kept her tail tucked between her legs. Luna seemed frightened and alone, making it difficult for Hollee to sleep at night. However, Hollee was aware that if she attempted to catch Luna, the girl would run away.

One day, while Hollee was outside with her puppy, Luna acted differently. Luna observed them and seemed fascinated or eager to play. Eventually, Luna jumped around and approached Hollee. This was the first time Luna approached Hollee, and she bowed her head like she wanted Hollee to pet her. Hollee recalled the incident. Hollee was delighted to adopt Luna because she did not have a microchip. She finds it amazing to see the sweet girl transform.
